Three platters, each a slightly different size, each cut from solid sustainably sourced teak, each with its own grain and warm character. They nest together when stored, stack beautifully when styled, and come apart when the table needs them. The rectangular form with gently rounded corners is clean and considered — deep enough to hold olives, cheese, charcuterie or fruit; flat enough to work as a display tray or a surface for candles and objects on a sideboard or coffee table.

The teak grain shifts between the three — lighter on the small, richer and darker on the large — in the way that wood from the same tree never quite repeats itself. The outer faces carry the raw texture of the cut timber, the inner surfaces are smooth and finished. They work equally well at the table as they do on a shelf. A set that makes both hosting and everyday living feel a little more considered.
